Chariot of Slaanesh
While painting daemonettes I started a little sideproject and tried to build a Chariot of Slaanesh. Just from there stats and abilities these little buggers seem like true powerhouses. For this little fellow here I used bits from a High Elves Chariot, Chaos Spawns and the Daemonette box. I will do some more updates when the model is painted.

Heavy Fire Support: Tau Hammerhead
Good morning!
I finally finished my second Hammerhead yesterday and here it is!
I put a lot of effort into it, especially the highlights along the armour segments are a little bit exhausting, but overall I think it paid off.
I am particularly happy with the decals as they aren't glossy (the trick with gloss varnish as undercoat then the decal and matt varnish as cover really works out well)

The Masque of Slaanesh
What would a host of daemonettes be without their proper leader. Here you can see my try on the Masque of Slaanesh. I´m still not sure if I will ever use her in games but the model is really nice and as a hell lot of detail for being very small and fimble. In game I think the model is mostly hurt by being no Independent Character wich allows all fire being direct at her. Even with her really nice Invulnaerable save her low toughness and wounds won´t make her last for long. Playtesting will show if she is worthy of leading the dance of my daemonettes.

Daemonettes of Slaanesh
Somewhere on my shelf my poor Eldar lament my deep fall into the evil works of chaos .... but who cares about these whiny space elves - no just kidding. But I really don´t think they would welcome my effort to buy shiny new models of there dead enemy Slaanesh, the Dark Prince, She Who Thirsts and all the other names he/she/it is called. To add some number to my mainly shooty Tzeentch force I did some majot investment in 30 fancy space bitches on crack of wich I already painted 20. I´m sorry for the blurry pictures but my cameras macro is a little overstrained with pictures of more than one model.

The Parade of Excess
The Parade of Excess
To add some speed and really hard hitting power to my list I decided to treat myself with my first cavalary unit - the Fiends of Slaanesh. I glued them together just yesterday and there is still alot of work to be done on them. I´m a little disappointed with lack of poseson the model that gives the unit a very similar look. With the green stuff dried I now can start to to some corrections on joints and hopefully the model will not just fall apart when I start to scrap it with my carpet cutter.
Expect to see a pic of the first painted one after I finished the last 10 demonettes.

Tau XV84 Commander
Here we go, my latest addition to my expanding Tau army: the XV84 Crisis suit with marker light.
Yeah, Forge World miniatures....that's something special....you get addicted to it once you have your first models.
I think these suits look way better than the ones from GW, much more hulking and somewhat threatening and you can pose them more freely. I thought a lot about which pose I wanted to have him and I decided to let him jump away from the enemy and blasting away with his burst cannon. (I was a little bit inspired by the Tau commander in DoW, when he makes this kind of jump).
The weapons are both magnetized so I can switch between all loadouts I want.
...and here is why I have so much time for painting at the moment:

Shas'El in command
Hey all,
as promised here is my new addition to my Tau army: A Shas'El commander in XV8 crisis suit, armed with cyclic ion blaster and missile pod.
The base he is standing on is from Micro Art Studio; they have a great line of all different kind of bases. You can find their shop right here.

At last back to war
Hi guys!
After a long slumber deep in the chapter vaults, I have awoken once again....
No ok, the thing between war games called life hold me off posting here for far too long, but now I am back with some new W40k goodness. The exchange rates from British pounds to Euro were so great recently that I couldn't help myself and ordered something really big. Just have a look at what's coming up soon (well, not that soon I have to admit).
If you see this coming.... You better go and find some cover!
The Death Korps of Krieg Arkurion pattern Stormblade!
As you can see here, it is not yet fully assembled and a few parts are not glued in place for simplifying the painting. I am planning to use my new airbrush for the camouflage (mostly grey colours) and I am going to try some of the imo great tips and tricks from the Imperial Armour Model Masterclass book.
Sadly this baby needs to be pushed a little bit back on the schedule since I don't have my airbrush here with me.
At the moment I am working on two Tau battlesuits (one Forge World XV84 and an ordinary XV8 commander). Pics to follow.
